| These hand impulse sealers seal poly bags and any thermoplastic materials quickly and efficiently. No warm up time is needed. Depending on the model of the machine, materials up to 40" wide and 10 mil thick can be sealed. The seal width rangically beeps when seal is done. Once the timer is set, it will give a consistently flat seal. Easy to operate. Simply set the timer, insert bag between the impulse sealing bars, press down, and release. | BEST PRACTICES: Impulse Sealers - Adding a dwell step to the sealing process The most common question we receive from our dealers and your customers is: Why does the seal appear over-melted or under-melted when using an impulse sealer ? The key is the DWELL process. Because impulse sealers are manual sealers, a manual dwell step must be added to your sealing process to make a proper seal. Hold the upper jaw or seal arm down for an additional 2-4 seconds after the light goes off to set or congeal the seal. This will ensure a beautiful looking seal. |
